ManualScout searches for PDF user manuals, including operator/user guides, installation manuals, and service/repair manuals. You can filter by type using the Manual Types toggles on the home screen.
Tap the camera button, take a photo of your product (the product itself, a barcode, or a label), and ManualScout will identify the product and search for its manual automatically.
When viewing a manual, tap the Troubleshoot button to open an AI chat. Ask any question about the manual in plain English and get clear answers with references to specific pages.
You get 50 free AI questions per day. Your question count resets automatically each day.
ManualScout searches the web for publicly available PDF manuals. Some manufacturers may not publish their manuals online, or may host them behind login pages. Try searching with different terms like the exact model number.
On the home screen, tap the location icon to change your region. This helps ManualScout find manuals in the right language and for products sold in your area.
ManualScout requires iOS 16.0 or later. An internet connection is required for searching and AI features.
